The Farmville Secret Guide Reviewed

Firstly I have to clarify that this review is for the farmville guide called "The Farmville Secret" , not the guide called "Farmville Secrets" although I do review that guide also on my website.

As of the writing of this article (Late Feb 2010) I have ranked this as the best farmville guide (I have to update my comparison page yet). This guide is not better in every aspect but it is better in the main aspect of guides, and that is that the end result is that I am progressing better now than after reading all the other guides.

The actual pdf guide that comes with this farmville guide package is on par with most of the other farmville guides out there. That is to say you will get information out of it that is useful, but it is not the overall strength of this farmville guide.

The strength of this guide is the additional resources provided with the pdf guide that help you along your farmville life. I would have to say that the resources provided are much more valuable than the pdf itself. In fact I skim read the pdf and jumped right to the meat of the guide.

After I had the resources in my posession I easily started creaming the crops of farmville and had it set on auto pilot.

There is some frustration with the additional software as it is still just beta software that is not polished or commercial at all. if you can get past these problems then everything just runs beautifully.

I will also say that it may not be particularly appropriate for the beginner player. Even though the pdf covers the basics, you will have to have quite good computer skills to handle the extra software if you do ever run in to problems.

I found that the best way to deal with any software problems encountered is to uninstall and start again. But be careful to install in the same folder you did originally as I ran in to problems when I did not do this.
